Run San Ramon - 5K/10K and Fastest Mile

The 2025 Run San Ramon presented by the City of San Ramon is celebrating its 40th year! Run San Ramon features 5K and 10K events as well as the Fastest Mile! Get a healthy start to your 4th of July with this Independence Day Classic. Enjoy the paved and looped course through San Ramon. The Run San Ramon 5K, 10K and Fastest Mile will be a chip timed race.

Registration Options:
Registration options include online, mail in, or in person at packet pick up on July 3rd fron 1:00pm-5:00pm at Sports Basement San Ramon.  Online registration will remain open through July 3rd. 

• 5K/10K Run and the FASTEST MILE
• T-Shirts, Bibs will be distributed at packet pick up on July 3rd at Sports Basement. For participants who cannot attend packet pick up race gear will be available on race day.    
• Award Ceremony will take place after the last age group award winner has crossed the finish line. 
• Free refreshments, ice cream, and fruit will be available for all participants!

Registration options include online, mail-in, or packet pick-up registration, up to 800 participants. Online registration closes onJuly 3rd, we will accept limited day of raceregistrations. Late or incomplete entries willnot be accepted.

Staff continually monitors guidelines from the State of California and Contra Costa County Health Department for community events and will release additional event specific information as it is available.  Please continue to check the event website for the latest information or register now and receive e-mail notifications as information is released.

Packet Pick Up:
Swing by Sports Basement San Ramon, 1041 Market Place San Ramon, CA 94583, on Wednesday, July 3rd, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm to grab your shirt and bib. They have all of your race day essentials! Just show your bib at checkout for up to 20% off everything in store!
Race registration is available during packet pick up.

Race Day Packet Pick Up:
Shirts and bib numbers will be available from 6:45 am - 7:45 am on the day of the race for those who are unable to attend packet pick up or those who register after packet pick up.

Parking Information:
There are three parking lots available for Run San Ramon event parking.  

• San Ramon City Hall Parking Lot                    (No entrance/exit restrictions)
• San Ramon Community Center Parking Lot     (Entry closes at 7:15am / South exit open during the event)
• Iron Horse Middle School Parking Lot              (Entry closes at 7:15am / No exit until race completed)

There is no event parking in the neighborhoods surrounding central park or in the marketplace.  Please refrain from parking in these areas.
